Derek Chiu, DPT, OCS

Derek Chiu received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC) which is ranked one of the top physical therapy schools in the nation. He has a deep passion for orthopedic and sports medicine and has pursued higher education in those respective fields. He is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and a Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Since 2018, he has helped over 900 patients become pain-free and return to doing what they love. He has worked with a wide range of individuals including police officers, firefighters, service members, office workers, laborers, dancers, golfers, cyclists, fitness enthusiasts, weekend warriors, collegiate athletes, and professional body builders. His mission for every patient is to provide quick symptom resolution by finding the primary issue of their complaints and correcting them. This requires an investigative mind and attention to detail which he prides himself in. When Derek is not working, he enjoys weightlifting, hiking, cycling, playing video games, snowboarding, camping, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and serving at a local church.
