PT Evaluation and Treatment
Evaluation: We provide a thorough assessment to investigate the cause of your pain through different objective measures. This may include assessments to evaluate your movement, posture, range of motion, flexibility, strength, and joint mobility.
Self-Care Management: We provide you the necessary knowledge and training to ensure the protection and recovery of your injured area. This may include instructions on taping, activity modification, posture, ergonomic setup, sleeping position, traction, modality usage, and or swelling control.
Functional Training: We provide functional dynamic training to improve your ability to squat, lift, push, pull, run, jump, throw, swing, kick, and other movements that your sports or activities may require.
Correctional Exercises: We provide specific exercise training to improve your muscle activation and synergy, strength, endurance, flexibility, range of motion, stabilization, posture, kinesthetic sense, balance, coordination, and proprioception.
Manual Therapy: We provide hands-on technique to improve your muscle tension, activation, stabilization, synergy, joint stiffness, neural restriction, swelling, and pain. This may include joint mobilization, manipulation, deep or soft tissue mobilization, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, manual nerve gliding and or stretching, and or manual lymphatic drainage. We may also use cupping therapy, kinesiotape, and or instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization to achieve similar therapeutic benefits.
***Note: If you are only interested in hands-on treatment then you should visit your local massage therapist or chiropractor. Current scientific literature does not support the use of passive therapeutic treatments alone for long-term health benefits.
Disclaimer: we cannot treat any work-related injuries or patients that have Medicare due to their strict rules and regulations.
